Experience Should Not Require a Student to Give Up Income.
Talented students throughout Greater Philadelphia are pursuing degrees and careers connected to the life sciences, but many lack the networks and financial flexibility that make internships accessible.
An unpaid opportunity can force a student to choose between gaining experience and earning the income they need. Project Onramp is built around paid internships because access only works when students can afford to participate.
The Intern Fund can help support paid opportunities and real-world needs such as transportation, meals, and other barriers that can affect a student's ability to show up and succeed.
Your Eligible Interns Can Still Join Onramp.
You do not have to hire through Project Onramp to give an eligible student access to the program's additional support.
Include our opt-in flyer with your internship onboarding or HR materials. Pell Grant-eligible students can opt in and participate in Project Onramp programming at no cost.

One Opportunity Can Change the Direction of a Career.
After caring for his father with diabetes, Temple student Alain Sto Domingo was inspired to pursue a career in biopharma. Through Project Onramp, he landed internships at GSK and Paratek, gaining skills, mentorship, industry experience, and income to support his family.
Today, Alain works full-time at his host company, Paratek Pharmaceuticals.
