Friendsgiving: Fill the Pantry

We are in the home stretch to raise $25,000 by Thanksgiving and keep shelves stocked through the holidays for families in West Philadelphia and Kensington.

Give now to fill the pantry

We are not collecting food for this campaign. Your gift helps partners purchase the right items when they are needed.

Goal: $25,000 by November 27

$17,390 raised of $25,000 • About 600 families reached so far • Updated daily

A $10,000 match is on the table. Every new dollar helps unlock the full match and keeps shelves strong through December.

Honor roll in progress

Leaders from across the life science ecosystem are fueling this work. Their gifts have helped us pass $17,000 and brought us within reach of our match and our goal.

Why this matters

In West Philadelphia, Episcopal Community Services operates a client-choice pantry that restocks three times a week to meet demand. In Kensington, the New Day Drop-In Center offers hot meals, coffee, showers, and essentials so women can stabilize and take the next step.

Friendsgiving: Fill the Pantry funds restocks, not food drop-offs. Your dollars let partners purchase exactly what their clients need, including fresh produce, culturally preferred foods, and special-diet options. This keeps choice at the center.

Who your gift supports

ECS Pantry, West Philadelphia. A client-choice model where families select groceries that meet their needs, including fresh items that are difficult to source through traditional food drives.

New Day Drop-In Center, Kensington. A safe, welcoming space that meets basic needs first so longer-term goals become possible.

Our Fill the Pantry honor roll is growing by the day with individuals, teams, and companies from across the life science community. You can join them in this final push.
