Annual Pantheon Awards honor California’s most impactful life sciences innovators
Life Science Cares, Inc. (LSC), a nonprofit organization activating the financial and human capital of the life sciences industry and partnering with local nonprofits to disrupt the cycle of poverty and inequity throughout its communities, today announced that California Life Sciences (CLS) has awarded the 2024 Impact Pantheon Award to LSC. The Impact Award highlights LSC’s California-focused initiatives, which are enabled by the financial and volunteer support of individuals and organizations in the San Diego and San Francisco Bay Area life sciences industry.
“We’re extremely honored to receive this recognition from CLS,” said Sarah MacDonald, CEO of Life Science Cares. “This award reflects the dedication of our Bay Area and San Diego chapters in creating lasting change through both financial support and volunteerism. Our work across all chapters, whether it’s expanding access to education, enhancing economic opportunities, or addressing basic community needs, is making a tangible impact in breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering a brighter, more equitable future for those in need.”
“Congratulations to Life Science Cares on their well-deserved Pantheon Award,” said CLS President & CEO, Mike Guerra. “Their achievements showcase the trailblazing spirit of California’s life sciences sector. As Pantheon celebrates its 21st anniversary, it’s especially inspiring to honor innovators like Life Science Cares, whose dedication to community service demonstrates how life sciences can drive meaningful change by uplifting and supporting vulnerable populations.”
Pantheon unites over 500 industry leaders each year to celebrate the transformative contributions of California’s top life sciences professionals. This year’s winners were announced at the awards ceremony on November 7 in San Francisco. Visit www.califesciences.org/pantheon to learn more.
