Women in STEM: Funding the Future

Women founders receive about 2% of venture capital funding. That statistic came up at our Women’s History Month panel in March, and it’s stuck with us since. It’s not because women-led companies underperform. According to BCG research, women-led startups generate 78 cents in revenue for every dollar invested, compared to 31 cents for male-led startups. The gap is about access, not merit.

We’re bringing the conversation back for a panel and networking event focused on what’s actually standing in the way of funding parity, and what can be done about it. Save the date for an evening with women leading in biotech and life sciences investing.
