Women in Science | The Science of Success Series | Who Gets Funded, and Why? A Conversation on Untapped Potential

Women founders receive about 2% of venture capital funding. That statistic came up at our Women’s History Month panel in March, and it’s stuck with us since. It’s not because women-led companies underperform. According to BCG research, women-led startups generate 78 cents in revenue for every dollar invested, compared to 31 cents for male-led startups. The gap is about access, not merit. Founders, investors, and allies will share honest, hard-won insights on raising capital, from the challengse and wins to the resources that help. Come for the conversation, stay for the community!  Stay after for food, drinks, and a chance to connect with others navigating this space.
