-Training Walk

Meet between 5:15 -5:30pm at the Maine Monument in the southwest corner of Central Park, near Columbus Circle.

Maine Monument is the prominent fountain and statue with the stone pedestal and gold figures on top. Everyone has seen it but probably few know its name.

-Happy Hour

Join us after the walk or come straight to happy hour. We’ll be at Jake’s Dilemma from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

What is the Great Saunter?

On May 2, 2026, our team of purpose-driven life science leaders will take on a 32-mile walk around the perimeter of Manhattan. We’ll join the Great Saunter® to raise funds for Life Science Cares New York, via a shared, symbolic walk through the communities we seek to uplift.
