“Like CZI, Life Science Cares believes that building lasting, valuable impact starts in the communities in which we live and work. We are honored and humbled to be recognized alongside our colleagues building a more equitable, inclusive, and just San Mateo County,” said LSC Bay Area Executive Director Aisha Baro.

CZI’s support will fuel growth in LSC Bay Area programs including Project Onramp, a program that helps underserved students explore careers in the life sciences through paid summer internships in the industry. This past summer, 50 students worked in a variety of roles across 19 companies and participated in additional mentoring and professional development workshops.
