FAQS

LSC    San Diego    About Us

How do you select non-profit partners?

We look for organizations doing the most impactful work in our three areas of focus: survival, education and sustainability.

We seek organizations that measure their impact and utilize volunteer time and talent.

Successful partnerships work to identify challenges or needs and find resources within the industry to overcome those challenges.

What partner organizations do you work with in San Diego?

We are currently soliciting nominations from our Board of Advisors for Non-Profit Partners and will facilitate an RFI process in early 2021.

Will you add partner organizations?

Yes! We will review recommendations from our Board of Managers and Board of Advisors on a rolling basis in order to add partners that help in our fight against poverty.

While we do not have a specific target for the number of partners we will select: in Boston, LSC started with seven partners in 2017 and now supports 27 partners in 2020. LSC Philly now has 5 partners and now supports 15.
