Life Science Cares is thrilled to welcome Christine Casalini as our first-ever Director of Development, a milestone hire for the organization as we aim to grow our impact in the Greater Boston community.

“We are committed to bringing every resource we can to meet our goal of ending poverty and its effects in our region,” said LSC Executive Director Sarah MacDonald. “We are so excited to add Christine to our small-but-mighty team here at LSC and look forward harnessing her expertise and passion for philanthropy in order to continue to build our work.”

Before joining LSC, Christine worked as a Senior Associate Director of Philanthropy Communications at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

She is passionate about equity and has raised millions for nonprofits that address the basic needs of Bostonians, including organizations providing services to the homeless, alleviating hunger, and ensuring residents’ safety and well-being. She has also supported youth education and workforce development initiatives. Christine is a board member at the Boston Cyclists Union, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the safety of cycling for all Bostonians.

Christine enjoys traveling, riding her bike with friends, and circus aerials. She lives in Somerville with her girlfriend, Victoria.
