Join us to send off our Timmerman Traverse hiking crew with a virtual community workout!

$25 or more suggested donation (to be split by Life Science Cares & InnerCity Weightlifting)

On Sept. 13th, 20 life science leaders will trek 20 miles over seven peaks in the White Mountains to benefit Life Science Cares. Learn more about the Timmerman Traverse.

They’re putting their bodies to the test to support our work fighting poverty and inequity. Let’s join along! Expect a bodyweight workout in the spirit of hiking preparation—get ready to have your legs and lungs tested through a series of strength and calisthenic movements. This workout is excellent for any fitness level or family member and a variety of exercise options will be provided to meet your needs.

There is no cost to register, but consider a donation of $25 of more, which will be split by ICW & Life Science Cares. You can earmark your contribution to support a specific hiker, some of whom will join us for the workout & sendoff.

Description of Workout
We offer full body mobility, strength, and conditioning circuit workouts that are inclusive to everyone whether you’re brand new to fitness or a seasoned athlete!

Music: Playing music on our end doesn’t exactly translate over Zoom so if you are someone that likes to work out with music bumping have your speaker ready. If people have Spotify, here is a link to a clean playlist one of our Trainers curated!

Video: Having your camera on really helps our instructors provide a better, injury free experience. It allows them to correct form, motivate, and give modifications to those who need them. With that said, it is of course still completely optional as we totally understand and respect any and all reasons folks may not want to share.

Workout Inclusivity: We pride ourselves on making the workouts accessible to all fitness levels! Our trainers are great at giving multiple options for every movement so everyone can feel like they’re being challenged but also able to finish. That said, we love when people ask our trainers questions or for ways to modify if they happen to leave that out!
